Animals of the continents printables
This download includes a PDF with 7 continent cards and 6 corresponding cards (42 animal cards total) of animals that live on that continent, and a list of all the animals included.
Each card is outlined in the color that matches the continent for correction of error. If you prefer to not have the colored outline, then you can cut of the colored edges after printing.
After learning the names of the animals and where they live, children can sort these animal picture cards on the seven continent labels. The animals names are at the separate sheet so your kids can also sort the name labels.
Animals by continents represented:
- Africa: lion, giraffe, rhino, elephant, zebra, gorilla
- Asia: orangutan, camel, panda, tiger, malayan tapir, turkey
- Australia: kangaroo, emu, koala, wombat, spiny anteater, frilled lizard
- Europe: fox, reindeer, squirrel, hare, brown bear, gazzel
- North America: skunk, raccoon, eagle, black bear, moose, wolf
- South America: jaguar, macaw, frog, anteater, slouth, iguana
